OUR STORY

MEGAN PARK was established in London in 1997.

“I remember walking out of the Vogue offices in London with my first collection and going into a red phone box to call Liberty, telling them I was being featured in the magazine. Within two weeks, I’d sold to my wish list of stores - Barney’s New York, Neiman Marcus, Harvey Nichols, Joyce Hong Kong and Liberty,” she recalls.

Since returning to Australia to its hometown of Melbourne 10 years ago, the MEGAN PARK brand has retained its signature style that caught the attention of international buyers and media. MEGAN PARK collections are consistently impressive from season to season, the pieces possess a luxurious artisanal appeal with a modern bohemian spirit.

Committed to their team of artisans, everything is designed in-house, and a single garment will be worked on by the same tailor or embroiderer from start to finish. “My clothes are hopefully things that you’ll keep and love. The collections are not mass produced; the pieces I design and produce are considered in every way from the fabrication selection through to the cut and details that make them uniquely MEGAN PARK,” says Megan.

MEGAN PARK continues her international approach to the business which services stockists in Europe, the USA, Japan and the Middle East. The most successful region outside of Australia is the USA with over 50 stockists many whom are longstanding customers of MEGAN PARK and the collections sit beautifully alongside prestige brands in store including Marni and Dries Van Noten. Locally the brand is now represented through over 80 wholesale stockists in Australia and has three stand-alone MEGAN PARK boutiques, Armadale and Fitzroy in Melbourne and Pacific Fair on the Gold Coast with plans for further retail expansion in 2017.

The MEGAN PARK brand appeals to a life of style and now incorporates jewellery, a home collection and a children’s line. The Holiday range launched in 2013 was created in response to customers who yearned for additional holiday and travel pieces for their wardrobes ahead of the festive season. MEGAN PARK continues to evolve its offering to cater for their loyal customers.
