Our long line tunic top has been tailored from a heavy silk dupion fabric to create a flattering structured silhouette. Perfect for an evening occasion which requires comfort and casual sophistication, this top works back perfectly with a tailored pair of dress pants or even a long line skirt. The beauty of this piece is in the hand work that embellishes the neckline and front body. Textural leaves of silken ivory thread, Japanese seed beads and antique golden kussup ( a metallic thread ) are intricately crafted. Tufts of thread create 3 dimensional blossoms. There is an elegance and restraint to this embroidery making it perfect in its timelessness. Front pockets are added for ease while the relaxed shoulder and sleeve flatter the arms and neckline.
